ASK Investment Managers – Acquires SageOne to Strengthen Equity Business
A major strategic move — even as FY26 profitability resets
ASK Investment Managers has entered into definitive agreements to acquire SageOne Investment Managers, in a transaction estimated at ₹1,500–2,000 Cr by people familiar with the matter. The official transaction value has not been disclosed.
SageOne brings ₹9,000+ Cr of AUM to the platform, while its founder and CIO Samit Vartak will join the combined business as CIO – Equities. With the acquisition, ASK expects combined AUM to reach approximately ₹85,000 Cr. Blackstone will continue as the majority shareholder, subject to regulatory and investor approvals
